ApartmentSEO is issuing an urgent alert to all clients to advise of the rise in Google Business Profile hijackings.
Hackers are requesting ownership access to business listings. Hackers can take over the listing and become the new owner if the request is not denied within seven days.
Some common email formats for these hijacking requests may look along the lines of: profilesbusinessmanager@gmail.com or businessprofilemanager@gmail.com. Have you received a request for ownership from any suspicious email addresses? In that case, we recommend all clients promptly deny these requests for access to prevent any disruption in GBP edits and access issues.
